Russian Railways expects passenger traffic to rise to 1.4 bln ‘25

SOCHI, Oct 3 (PRIME) -- Russian Railways forecasts a higher passenger traffic to more than 1.4 billion people by 2025, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Suburban train traffic will amount to 1.3 billion people and long-distance traffic to 135 million people.

In 2019, Russian Railways’ passenger traffic is expected at 1.14 billion people and in 2020, at 1.2 billion people.
